Dillon Case Feeder Plate
Dillon Case Feeder Plate is a crucial component of the Dillon Press's case feeder system. It rotates under the brass pile, agitating and feeding cases into the pockets.
Understanding the Dillon Precision Case Feeder Plate
The Dillon case feeder plate is at the heart of the case feeder of your Dillon Press. It rotates under the pile of brass, agitating the brass and feeding the cases into the pockets. These pockets then carry the cases up to the top of the case feeder, and if oriented correctly, allow them to fall out through the output chute. If the cases are upside-down in the pockets, they fall out of the pocket back into the pile before reaching the output chute. In this manner, the Dillon case feeder outputs only cases with their bases down, as required for use in the reloading press.
The Dillon case feeder plate includes a clever slip-clutch type center core, which helps prevent the motor from stalling in case the shell plate jams up. This slip-disc is factory adjusted and should not need tensioning in use.
